Anubhuti Sinha

Practice areas

Anubhuti Sinha specialises in technology, privacy and data protection (GDPR), and intellectual property (IP) law. She reviews and drafts data processing agreements and other agreements and advises our clients on data protection, data governance, artificial intelligence (AI) and other technology laws. She also assists in providing advisory on international transfers of personal data, preparing privacy and cookies policies and conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).  

As a lawyer with Timelex, she is primarily a legal advisor in the EU-funded Horizon Europe research projects implemented by a consortium of companies, universities and NGOs in data protection, AI and e-health. In the context of these projects, she provides legal and ethical advice and analysis and broader support to Timelex’s partners in these projects. She also assists the consortium partners with any IP and data protection advisory that maybe required for the market exploitation of the final research.

In addition, Anubhuti is also experienced in drafting and negotiating various types of commercial contracts such as software licenses, technology transfers, joint ventures as well as investment agreements and shareholders’ agreements.  

Professional admissions

Anubhuti has been a member of the Bar Council of Delhi (India) since 2015 and of the Dutch-Speaking Bar Association at the Brussels Bar (B-List) since May 2023.

Prior professional experience

Prior to joining Timelex in 2022, Anubhuti worked in leading Indian law firms, JSA, Khaitan & Co LLP and Sagus Legal, in their Gurugram and Delhi offices, respectively. She has experience working with clients from diverse and regulated sectors such as e-commerce, technology, aviation, healthcare, and insurance.
