The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) recently published its final guidelines on the interplay between the GDPR and the Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2). Already in 2018, Member of the European Parliament Sophie in ‘t Veld asked to clarify a few aspects of the relationship between these two legal frameworks.  This has now resulted in the adoption of more elaborate guidelines.
